Olympia Palikara is an Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Warwick. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Athens. She completed her postgraduate studies at the UCL Institute of Education, where she received her Master's and Doctoral Degrees in Educational Psychology. Her research interests focus on studying the needs of children and adolescents with Developmental Language Disorder and exploring the relationship between Autism and Developmental Language Disorder.
Asimina M. Ralli is an Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology at the Department of Psychology at the National University of Athens. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Athens and she continued her postgraduate studies at the Institute of Education, University of London, where she received her Postgraduate Degrees and her Doctorate. Her research interests focus on the study of typical language development and literacy skills in children and adolescents, as well as the study of Developmental Language Disorder, the evaluation of the cognitive and language skills of children and adolescents and school readiness.
Vicky Irinaki is a graduate of the Department of Psychology at Panteion University and holds a Master’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Roehampton-University of London, on language disorders in conjunction with child and adolescent psychopathology. Specifically, the aim of her doctoral dissertation is to explore how the existence of language disorders in adolescents with psychological problems affects their psycho-therapeutic process. Finally, she works as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Roehampton in Developmental Psychology.
Dimitra Karagianopoulou is a PhD candidate in the Department of Psychology of the University of Athens. Her research interests focus on the study of Developmental Language Disorder and also on the coexistence between Developmental Language Disorder and Dyslexia. Dimitra works as a special educator supporting children with learning difficulties.
Eleni Kalliontzi is a PhD candidate in the Department of Psychology of the University of Athens. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Linguistics-Philology of the University of Athens and her postgraduate studies in the Department of Clinical Communication Studies at City University, London. Her research interests focus on the study of typical language development and Developmental Language Disorder in children. She works at the Community Center for Mental Health of Children and Adolescents (KOKEPSYPE) of N. Smyrni.
